Design is another way I get to express my creativity. From Instagram posts to newsletters to presentations, I use written, visual, and technological communication to get the message across.
Social Media Content
January - May 2025
Part of my job as a Digital Content Editor Intern at The Advocate was to create social media posts to promote articles online. I utilized Canva to create the posts and Later to schedule them. Here are some samples of posts I made that received high engagement, with the Google doodle one having over 6,800 likes and the Scrim one having over 8,000 likes. Newsletters
January - November 2024
Part of my role as President of the Public Relations Student Society of America at LSU was sending out newsletters to our 0ver 290 subscribed members. I utilized Canva to design the newsletters and MailChimp to send them. We had a consistent open rate of over 90% for all our newsletters. Here is one I sent out at the start of the Fall 2024 semester.
Presentations
I use Canva to create aesthetic slides when I have a presentation for class. Below are examples of some past presentation slides I created for my Media Ethics class and my Intermediate French class, for both of which I received A's.
